CPAS seminar series

The CPAS seminar series showcases current science communication research, outreach and teaching taking place in our centre and around the world. Seminars are usually presented by CPAS students and staff, but also often feature invited guests from Australia and overseas who are involved in science communication.
Seminars are held on Thursday evenings during semester times, in the Green Couch Room, Peter Baume Building 42A, at the Australian National University.
Seminars usually start at 5pm and finish around 6.30.
Interested members of the ANU community and the public are welcome to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring some food or drink to share.

Thursday 22 February features PhD Researcher Lucy Darragh to present her thesis proposal.
This Thursday, 14 December, will feature PhD Research Denis Karcher presenting on knowledge-exchange.
This Thursday, 7 December, will feature PhD Research Em Standen presenting on inclusive science communication.
This Thursday is a double feature seminar, 12-2pm 30 November, featuring PhD Research Christer de Silva and Associate Professor Hua Tian.
SEMINAR CANCELLED: ANU PhD researcher Tegan Clark will present on gender representation of scientists in Australian science syllabuses.
This Thursday, 23 November, CPAS Visiting Scholar, Professor Guoyan Wang will present science communication practices in China.
This Thursday, 16 November, Dr Sarah Kachovich will present from ANZIC (Australian and New Zealand International Ocean Discovery Program Consortium) at ANU.
This Thursday, 9 November, Dr Alaa Barhoum will present on responsible innovation.
Thursday 26 October, Liz Killen, the Acting Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chief Scientist of Australia.
Thursday 12 October from 1-2pm will feature Honours student Mel McMahon.
Thursday 12 October from 12-1pm will feature Dr Ulrike Prose, ANU HDR Industry Engagement Consultant
