CPAS prizes

To recognise and support high performing students commencing the Master of Science Communication program at the CPAS.

Seek to recognise the most outstanding thesis by a student studying a Masters level program at the Australian Centre for the Public Awareness of Science.

This award is for students who do exceptional things beyond the requirements of coursework, particularly related to engagement, publishing, collaboration and promoting critical thinking.

Do you need support for a CPAS related science communication event or project? Apply for a CPAS Critical Events grant!

This award will support a student from a low- and middle-income country through a graduate certificate in science communication.

This is the peak prize for degree-duration achievement, awarded to the student who completes a Major in Science Communication with the highest aggregate mark for the courses contributing to the major.

The objective of the prize is to recognise excellence in original research conducted by a third year or honours level science communication student.
