Title --  She will present, "Research and practice about science communication in China and Soochow University."

Dr. Guoyan Wang is currently a researcher and head of Science Communication Department in University of Science and Technology of China. She is also the vice president of CPCST Society (China Public Communication of Science and Technology) and the Committee member of China Scientific News Society. Wang has been a visiting professor here at CPAS. Their research and practice are closely focused on communication and visualization of cutting-edge science. One of her research published on Public Understanding of Science, reveals that cover images can raise citation rates. Meanwhile, she has helped lots of scientists designing top journal covers, such as Nature, Science and Cell. In 2017, Ruby has given a science communication speech on China Center Television ‘the Reunion of Science and Art’, which made her popular in China. She has already published 41 papers and 2 academic monographs, presided over 7 research projects, such as the China National Social Science Fund, Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies. Her main contributions are as follows.
