About
Originally from Townsville, Emily completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education at James Cook University. She moved to Canberra in 2010 to join the Shell Questacon Science Circus, graduating from the ANU with a Grad. Dip. in Science Communication (Outreach) at the end of the year.
After several years working at Questacon - The National Science and Technology Centre and the CSIRO as an Education Specialist, Emily is now undertaking her PhD at CPAS. As part of the Science Circus Pacific Project, Emily is looking at how to develop culturally appropriate science teacher resources in Samoa.
