Exploring the World of Science Communication: A Visit to the Universit Malaya

Last week, Professor Sujatha Raman was hosted by the lively Department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) at the Universiti Malaya. The STS department provides a platform for studying the socioeconomic and cultural dimensions of Science and Technology by exploring how progress in scientific knowledge and technological advancement affects society and vice versa.

Sujatha stated, "I was excited by the chance to deliver a talk about science engagement for sustainability transitions, and to learn about the novel research the Department is doing to at the interface of theories of sustainability and practice." 

These conversations are important for exploring how science communication can contribute to meaningful ways of bridging the environmental, social and cultural dimensions of sustainability.
