CPAS PhD researcher Emily Standen is the recipient of the 2020 Royal Commonwealth Society’s Phyllis Montgomerie Commonwealth Award.

The award, of up to $5000, is intended to help with expenses, including travel, associated with a research or education project to be conducted in a Commonwealth country, including Australia.

"The award will help me expand my fieldwork time and options, deepening the data I can gather and outcomes of the project," said Emily.

Emily's PhD contributes to our Science Circus international capacity building project, co-developing a teacher professional learning experience with pre service teachers in Fiji.
