Congratulations to winners of the ANU Science Communication Prizes for 2016

Four undergraduates were awarded a prize for excellence in science communication at the ANU Colleges of Science prize night on 28 July 2017. The prizes given on the night were for 2016 winners.
Michaela Ripper was present on the night and was awarded the Sue Stocklmayer Prize for Science Communication Major for her outstanding aggregate mark in the courses contributing to that major.
The other three awardees received their prizes in absentia:
- Ellen Phiddian received the Science Communication Undergraduate Research Prize for her outstanding honours thesis.
- Lamis Kazak received the First Year Science Communication Prize for her outstanding marks in SCOM1001 and SCOM1002.
- Mustafa Albekaa received the Chris Bryant and Mike Gore Prize for Science Outreach for his outstanding blog post, completed for SCOM1001.
