Katelyn Tsipiras

I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at the Australian National University. I'm investigating the implications of Australian research funding. I'm interested in how scientific priorities are created and if they shape the way researchers and institutions undertake their work.

 

My research is supervised by Associate Professor Will Grant, Professor Joan Leach, Emeritus Professor Ian Chubb AC FAA, and Associate Professor Fabien Medvecky. 

 

I am also a science communication practitioner, doing science education and outreach at Mt Stromlo Observatory since 2018.
