About

I am a Marie Skłodowska –Curie postdoctoral fellow at the University of Valencia, and Visiting Fellow at the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science of the Australian National University (CPAS-ANU). I hold a PhD in science communication from the Spanish National Research Council (INGENIO-UPV, CSIC).

My research and teaching focus on public understanding of science, popular science culture, citizen participation in science and technology, and public philosophy. My academic career is marked by strong international mobility, with periods in Australia, the Netherlands, Italy, and the USA, including a postdoctoral appointment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Alongside my academic work, I am an award-winning science communicator in Spain (Prismas) and actively involved in public engagement initiatives. I have promoted dialogue between scientists, citizens, and policymakers as a Board member of Ciencia en el Parlamento, and contributed to the creation of the first scientific advisory office for the Spanish Parliament, launched in 2022.
