About
Christer de Silva is a PhD candidate at the UNESCO Chair in Science Communication for the Public Good housed within the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science. He also serves as a consultant to The Mind Museum in the Philippines for its work as the current headquarters of the Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres.
He has spent 8-years working as a science engagement professional for various organizations. He led the development and management of educational programs, exhibits, festivals, and outreach at The Mind Museum; designed visuals and infographics for COSMOS Magazine at the Royal Institution of Australia; and facilitated K-12 programs at CSIRO Discovery Centre.
Christer holds a Master of Science Communication from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (Science Communication) from The University of The Philippines Los Baños.
