CPAS is a leader in science engagement practice and research. This Level B Academic will be proficient in studies of technology and society (e.g., with reference to engineering and computer science including specialist domains such as AI, machine learning or big data) and Responsible Innovation, building our expertise in major contemporary public debates around technological change.

The successful applicant will have experience in engaged research, and teaching in a core area that might include professional practice, technical communication, engineering and society, ethics of technology, technology and public policy, or social studies of technology.

The Lecturer is responsible for convening and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate coursework with an emphasis on professional practice, ethics, and technical communication in computer science and engineering.
