We want to see you doing exciting science with simple materials! To enter, all you need to do is share a photo or video of you doing science with a short explanation (100 words max).

Simply post to Facebook tagging @ANUScienceCircus or Twitter tagging @SciCircPacific and you are in the running to win one of three super awesome science prize packs valued at over AUD$200 dollars each!

You don’t have to be a professional film maker or photographer! Using a phone to capture the photo or video is fine! Your entry will be judged on how it shows science as fun, creative, safe and exciting through using everyday items. We’d love to see your ideas and creativity, but if you need inspiration we’ve collected some of our favourite activities here – including an activity booklet you can download.

For scientists aged 17 and under, you must get your parent or guardian’s permission to enter the competition. Please see the Terms & Conditions here.

SAFETY FIRST: Entries showing dangerous experiments or poor safety will be disqualified. Adults should supervise any potentially hazardous experiments (e.g. use of a candle).

Science Circus Pacific is an initiative of the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS) at the Australian National University, with support from the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
