The Wholesome Show has been shortlisted for the History category in the 2023 Australian Podcast Awards, which celebrate the nation’s best audio talent and creativity.

“It’s the biggest deal in Australian podcasting awarding," shares Associate Professor Will Grant. "We’re super excited! The Australian Podcast Awards have celebrated some truly amazing shows, and this is a great opportunity for us to bring science history to new audiences."

The Wholesome Show takes listeners on a wild conversational journey, deep diving into the crevices of science, history and culture that you never knew existed. It is a podcast that explores a topic of research each episode and asks the questions you wish you could when you are in the classroom. From 

"Obviously, I’m just in it for the money (there’s no money). And the free sandwiches," shares Dr Rod Lamberts. “I’m delighted to see so many fantastic podcasts nominated, and I congratulate all the finalists.” 

The Australian Podcast Awards brings the podcast community together to celebrate the outstanding work being produced, and the teams behind it.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday 21 November at a ceremony at the Sofitel in Darling Harbour.
