A discussion on how Australian and Japanese joint research help make cities liveable and societies resilient. Influential researchers and advisors to government reflect on research responsibility in development and application of new technologies. Participants will also see examples of successful research collaborations in a range of research fields.

The Australian National University Centre for the Public Awareness of Science and the University of Osaka Centre for the Study of Co*Design have joined together to lead a forum on responsible research in Science and Technology with a focus on Liveability and Resilience on November 2 2018.

This event is hosted by The Australian National University, the Centre for the Study of Co*Design at Osaka University, Osaka Innovation Hub, the Australia-Japan Foundation, and Australia now sponsors.

Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to attend and build their networks.
