Join the academics from the Australian National University, Monash University, and Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO for a discussion on the responsible innovation of neurotechnologies.
Two speakers:
Associate Professor Adrian Carter is an ARC Future Fellow and Head of the Neuroscience and Society Group at the School of Psychological Sciences and Monash Institute of Cognitive and Clinical Neurosciences, Monash University. He was also the Director of the Neuroethics Program of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Integrative Brain Function, and he co-Chairs the Australian Brain Alliance Neuroethics Subcommittee of the Australian Academy of Science.
Dr Moritz Maier is a senior researcher at the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation at Fraunhofer IAO, working on methods for stakeholder involvement in and co-creation of neuro- and other emerging technologies. He studied psychology at the University of Tübingen and the Universidad de Granada. For his PhD in cognitive neuroscience at the International Max Planck Research School and research at the Social Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Toronto, he worked on the neuronal foundations of prosocial behaviour.
