Build your dream degree with us

Here at The Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (affectionately known as ‘CPAS’), we have a long and rich history at Australia’s top university, the ANU. We are active in the major debates and resolving the core challenges for science communication and engagement now and we will continue to redefine and expand the field for public good.

Here you'll learrn from leading experts in the fields of responsible innovation, science communication for public good, media and popular science, capacity-building in science engagement, the ethics of science communication, and the role of science communication in emerging areas of science, technology, and medicine. We champion inclusive science communication in both our research interests and in our practice.

Our research-led teaching approach means you’ll get to put theory into practice and gain hands-on, practical experience inside and outside of the classroom. Making science understandable to the public can remove the existing disorientation in society and bring confidence in the future.
