Science in Popular Fiction Wiki

The Science in Popular Fiction Wiki is a website that makes past and current research into the nexus between science, fiction and the public available to anyone with internet access.

The wiki has two parts: a bibliographic database that helps people find specific journal papers to help their research, and an encyclopedia section that summarises and synthesises current research on broad topics of interest.

It was established in 2015 by Lindy Orthia with the assistance of an ANU Teaching Enhancement Grant. The Grant paid for the services of research assistant Rudi Spennemann, who entered and organised most of the bibliographic database information and also designed the wiki logo.

In 2015 students enrolled in SCOM2003/6003 Science in Popular Fiction contributed the first encyclopedia entries to the wiki.
