Sean Perera: a whole other ball game

Dr Sean Perera’s research explores science communication from cross-cultural perspectives: in particular, the appreciation of Western scientific knowledge by non-Western audiences. His first paper on this topic was published in The International Journal of Science in Society In this paper, Sean argues:  teachers are not "novices" to Western science, therefore the challenges they face are unique and different to those reported about children learning science in non-Western backgrounds. Sean is keen to explore this area of research further.
