Inez completed her BSc (Hons) at the Open University before launching the ‘Earth’s People’ foundation in 2007; an environmental science education platform aimed at teaching children about climate change – this ongoing project formed the basis for her interest in using digital tools for science communication and, ultimately, persuaded her to do a PhD. In 2011 she completed a double MSc degree from both the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Austria, and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Following her master, she was employed as a research assistant/course coordinator at the University of Copenhagen – specialising in online teaching and methods for effective online engagement.
