About us

The Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at the ANU is Australia's oldest and most diverse academic science communications centre, formed in 1996.

Our staff and students conduct diverse science communication research and science outreach activities, and our staff teach science communication at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Through our teaching, research and outreach we promote active communication about science in the public arena, through many mediums from social media to science shows to academic journal papers.
